چکیده
Within the biomaterials proposed for tissue regeneration, synthetic 3D hydrogels that mimic soft tissues possess great potential regenerative medicine but their poor vascularization rate is usually incompatible with long-term cell survival. Fabrication of promote and/or accelerate remains nowadays a challenge. In present work, tubular geometries ranging from 28 to 680 μm in diameter, correspond those human small artery/veins and arterioles venules, were prepared. The surface this tubes was coated proteins extracellular matrix assuring adhesion endothelial cells monolayer. Interestingly, case diameter channels, polysaccharide-based made neutral pullulan dextran do not allow adhesion, transformed into active materials guiding behavior solely by modification internal microarchitecture, without addition proteins. Under static conditions, migration, proliferation polarization on hydrogel induced, any protein or peptide; property found be directly dependent curvature channels. last years, impact geometry regulate has been highlighted paving way use non-flat as cues develop guide regeneration. Here, we report functional material based geometrical assure arrangement vessel-like structures providing new pro-vascularizing properties.

Experimental tools to model cell-tissue interactions will likely lead to new ways to both understand and treat cancer. While the mechanical properties and regulation of invasion have been recently studied for tumor cells, they have received less attention in the context of tumor vascular dynamics. In this article, we have investigated the interaction between the surfaces of structures encounter...
متن کاملAn effective approach for damage identification in beam-like structures based on modal flexibility curvature and particle swarm optimization
In this paper, a computationally simple approach for damage localization and quantification in beam-like structures is proposed. This method is based on using modal flexibility curvature (MFC) and particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm. Analytical studies in the literature have shown that changes in the modal flexibility curvature can be considered as a sensitive and suitable criterion for...
متن کاملPotential of fibroblasts to regulate the formation of three-dimensional vessel-like structures from endothelial cells in vitro.
The development of vessel-like structures in vitro to mimic as well as to realize the possibility of tissue-engineered small vascular networks presents a major challenge to cell biologists and biotechnologists. We aimed to establish a three-dimensional (3-D) culture system with an endothelial network that does not require artificial substrates or ECM compounds. By using human skin fibroblasts a...
متن کاملNormalized Curvature Ratio for Damage Detection in Beam-Like Structures
Fiber Optic Sensors (FOS) offer numerous advantages for structural health monitoring. In addition to being durable, lightweight, and capable of multiplexing, they offer the ability to monitor strain in both static and dynamic mode. FOS also allow for instrumentation of large areas of a structure with long-gage sensors which helps enable global monitoring of the structure. Drawing upon these ben...
متن کاملSpecification of Hemato-Endothelial-Like Structures and Generation of Hematopoietic Progenitor Cells from Human Pluripotent Stem Cells
Background and purpose: Human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) with the ability to differentiate into adult cells have provided a new perspective for treatment of some diseases. But, the efficiency of differentiation methods to generate hematopoietic progenitor cells (HPCs) is faced with multiple challenges. In the present study, we investigated the formation of hemato-endothelial-like structure...
